Vincent Kiejzo, 36, was sentenced to more than three years in prison and ordered to pay $43,500 in restitution to the victims.

A former Milford second-grade teacher was sentenced Wednesday in federal court to serve more than five years in prison for possessing child pornography, authorities said.

Vincent Kiejzo, 36, was sentenced to 42 months in prison and ordered to pay $43,500 in restitution to the victims, according to the office of Acting U.S. Attorney Joshua S. Levy. He pleaded guilty in December to one count of possession of child pornography.

Prosecutors said in May 2019 that an IP address registered to Kiejzo was linked to websites known for hosting content and discussions about the sexual exploitation of minors. When his Milford home was searched in September 2020, prosecutors said investigators found a USB plugged into a TV in his bedroom that contained links to websites about child sexual exploitation, as well as more of 6,000 images of child pornography, including those involving infants.

Kiejzo will be required to register as a sex offender and will be prohibited from having any contact with children upon his release from prison, according to Levy’s office.
