Former Manchester United and Man City striker Carlos Tevez rushed to hospital in Argentina with chest pain
Carlos Tevez was rushed to hospital in Argentina after suffering chest pains.
Independiente, where the 40-year-old is head coach, released a statement saying the former Man United and Man City striker had been admitted to hospital.

The club said: “Our coach, Carlos Tevez, went to La Trinidad Hospital in San Isidro with chest pains.
“They carried out the corresponding tests and they were satisfactory.
“Today it will continue a series of tests scheduled in advance as part of a general check.”
In a later message, the club added: “Carlos Tevez will be hospitalized as a precautionary measure until the relevant tests are completed.”
Tevez became Independiente’s head coach in August 2023 and in December extended his contract until 2026. This was after transforming them from relegation contenders last season to trophy hunters.
The club is currently sixth in the Argentine Primera Division.
