Paul Danan, a former Hollyoaks star, died at the age of 46. He died earlier today, management confirmed in a press release.
A statement from Independent Creative Management said: “It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of @pauldanan at just 46 years old. Known for his television presence, exceptional talent and unwavering kindness, Paul was a beacon to so many. »
They added: “His premature departure will leave irreplaceable voids in the lives of all who knew him. During this difficult time, we ask for respect and privacy from Paul’s family, friends and colleagues. No further comments will be made at this time.
Born in 1978, Danan landed his first acting role at just 19 playing lovable thug Sol Patrick on the Channel 4 show. Hollyoaks. He was one of the big stars of that Hollyoaks era, playing a bad boy with a history of homelessness and a temper that got him into trouble. He left the series in 2001.
Danan has also starred on shows like CBBC The Queen’s nose.
He then appeared as a celebrity contestant in the first season of the ITV original series. Celebrity Love Island and was also on Celebrity Big Brother.
He spoke about drug addiction on The Jeremy Kyle Show several years ago.
