Paul Danan, a former Hollyoaks star, died at the age of 46. He died earlier today, management confirmed in a press release.

Born in 1978, Danan landed his first acting role at just 19 playing lovable thug Sol Patrick on the Channel 4 show. Hollyoaks. He was one of the big stars of that Hollyoaks era, playing a bad boy with a history of homelessness and a temper that got him into trouble. He left the series in 2001.
Danan has also starred on shows like CBBC The Queen’s nose.
He then appeared as a celebrity contestant in the first season of the ITV original series. Celebrity Love Island and was also on Celebrity Big Brother.
He spoke about drug addiction on The Jeremy Kyle Show several years ago.
