Former Goa Chief Minister Ravi Naik died after suffering a cardiac arrest on Wednesday, October 15. He was 79 years old.
He was declared dead at 1 am on October 15 at a private hospital in Ponda town, news agency PTI reported citing sources.
His last rites would take place around 3 p.m.
His mortal remains were taken to his home in Khadpabanch, Ponda, where thousands of people were said to have gathered to pay their respects to the politician.
