Bayern missed out on the Bundesliga title against a Bayer Leverkusen side who remain undefeated this season.

However, he can still win the Champions League and will face Real Madrid in the semi-final second leg on Wednesday, live on talkSPORT.

Even if he wins the Champions League, he is unlikely to be at Bayern next season.

Tuchel told TNT Sports: “It is very, very, very unlikely that it will be at Bayern, I have to say, because we have an agreement, there is at the moment no reason to doubt this agreement.

“We took this position, the initiative came from the club, and that’s how it is and that suits me.

“I don’t need it for the extra percentage of competitiveness because I’m always up for winning, I’m always thinking about how to improve the team or how to improve as a coach.

Tuchel is heavily linked with Manchester United and has previously enjoyed success in the Premier League with Chelsea.

He won the Champions League in 2021, before being sacked in September 2022.
