Ford screaming the expeditions of F-150, other vehicles in China in the midst of reprisal rates
In recent weeks, tensions between the United States and China have reached a fever field. The White House announced that the nation was facing rates as high as 245%, saying that this decision had been made to combat the country’s “reprisal actions”. In return, the United States was struck by import tax increases in the midst of an increasing tariff war.

Indeed, Ford has announced that it suspends expeditions of vehicles specific to China in the middle of the booming American trade war. More specifically, they stopped sending their raptor, Mustangs and Bronco SUV F-150, according to a report by Wall Street Journal.

The decision was made because Chinese officials increased their reprisals on American imports to 150%. According to sources, the suspension of expeditions was the best effort of Ford to face. In addition, the Michigan car manufacturer based in Michigan has noted that prices will probably increase in early July. More specifically, these increases will occur if the prices are not resolved.
“Customers will have a lot of choices and we have a lot of inventory to choose until June 2. The tariff situation is dynamic, and we continue to assess the potential impact of pricing actions,” said a spokesperson for Ford.
JPMorgan CEO, Jamie Dimon, was one of the individuals calling at the end of the conflict. Indeed, he urged the Trump administration to engage with China. If they do not do so, he expressed the fear that the trade war cannot cause irreparable damage to the nation and its perception.
