Ford Motor recalls more than 148,000 vehicles in the United States as part of two reminders, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced on Thursday.
The automaker will recall 123,611 vehicles due to a liquid leak that could reduce braking performance and increase the stop distance. This affects certain Ford F-150 models 2017-2018, Expedition and Lincoln Navigator.
Dealers should replace affected parts such as the master cylinder or the brake booster, free of charge, said the American automotive security regulator.

In addition, Ford recalls 24,655 of its Explorer 2025 vehicles as a control module of the Motopropulser group (PCM) can reset during driving, which can damage the vehicle park system or cause an engine stand, depending on the regulator.
Dealers should solve the software problem free of charge, owners receiving notification letters before May 26.
