A man has been arrested after the body of a young mother was found in a home early Monday morning.
Police discovered the body of teaching assistant Molly Ticehurst, 28, at a property on Young St, Forbes, NSW, around 1.50am.
Officers attended the home due to concerns for Ms Ticehurst’s welfare and found her body.
A crime scene has been established and homicide detectives are investigating the death.

A man was arrested at a property in Fifield, just under 100km northwest of Forbes, and was taken to Parkes police station, where he is assisting police with their investigation.
The man has not been charged and the police investigation continues.
In a poignant message shared on social media, the mother-of-one called her 5-year-old son “her entire world”.
The tragedy comes after Ms Ticehurst shared a chilling revelation about returning to her hometown several years ago.
“I just moved into a new house haunted by a little boy,” she wrote online.
The exact circumstances of Ms Ticehurst’s death remain to be established. A spokesperson for his employer declined to comment.
It comes after at least 24 women have been killed by men in Australia so far in 2024.
Hannah McGuire, 23, from Clunes, Victoria, was found dead near Ballarat on April 5. She was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend Lachlan Young, 21.
Meanwhile, Patrick Stephenson, 22, was charged last month with the murder of missing mother Samantha Murphy. Mr. Stephenson is in court.
