Why I run: “For the hospital that brought me back to life”

I run the Boston Marathon for my daughter Serafina and my son Santino.

Serafina was born with a congenital heart defect and underwent life-saving open heart surgery in 2019 at Children’s Hospital in Boston at the age of 2 months. October 2020, my son was born three months earlier and BCH worked hand in hand with our NICU team to save his life.

I might be a new runner (March 2020), but I’m no stranger to the amazing work Boston Children’s Hospital does.
