Ken Hinkley insisted that Port Adelaide has Ollie wines “ Cardiac disease ” well under control ” after the Brownlow 2021 medalist was replaced on Sunday in the victory of his team against Sydney Swans.
It is the third time in four seasons that the 30 -year -old has been forced to leave a match due to an irregularity in his pulse, the wines being substituted for today’s confrontation at the SCG in place of Rory Atkins.
First, the wines had been seen to doctors in the power canoe before entering the field for several minutes.
He would later come from the field due to an irregularity which causes palpitations.
Last year, the soccer star, who was diagnosed for the first time with the state in 2022, had undergone surgery on his heart to remedy the problem.
After following the advice of doctors and followed a treatment, wines hoped that the problem would not persist.

It is understood that the midfielder had struggled with a condition of heart rate, that he has already undergone surgery

Hinkley insisted that the Port Adélaide doctors had the condition “well under control”
Hinkley, on the other hand, revealed what the wines had said to the coach bench after coming from the soccer field, adding that the club managed the problem with diligence.
“To my knowledge, Ollie had another of her little episodes in her heart, which our doctors have under control,” said Hinkley.
“In the past, he has had a procedure to take care of this, obviously, he returned today.
“We have a good command, but that does not mean that we will not stop exploring what we have to do to support Ollie through it.”
Hinkley has also given a positive update on the state of wines.
“He is quite comfortable in the rooms, he returned to the bench, the right thing is that even if, unfortunately, he experienced it, he knows how to react.
“He has self-diagnosed, he stands out and says:” My heart is doing some silly things at the moment “. It looks really bad, I don’t want to talk about someone’s heart, but the reality is that there is good mastery, our medical team has incredibly good driving.
“We feel quite safe around what is going on and we will make sure that we will do every test this week.

In February, the wines announced in Adelaide now that he had undergone surgical procedure to help correct the problem, after managing the problem of expert advice.
“I did something pre-Christmas for what I am in question, everything is corrected,” said Wines.
“I should never have the problem again.
Since this match against Melbourne in the fifth round of 2022, the wines have played 25 games, including five this year.
Speaking on the condition, Wines said in 2022: “It is more a heart rate problem that is quite common in the elderly and elite athletes.”
The wines took eight eliminations and four points in the first quarter, while the Hinkley team took an early advance on the swans.
“He would prefer that it does not happen too, but the reality is that it happens a little,” added Hinkley.
“But we have the impression that we have a good command of what to happen.
“He’s just a little frustrated by what happened.”
Jon Ralph, meanwhile, shed light on the state while talking to Fox Footy on Sunday.
“The heart problems he has suffered since 2022 has reassured him by his cardiologist is not deadly,” said Ralph.

It is understood that the wines (on the left) had entered the locker room after the match to receive treatment and were “comfortable” after being replaced
“It is certainly not threatening a career, but it does not mean that it is not extremely frightening when it happens to him.
“We saw him in 2022 – he complained of heart palpitations, dizziness and nausea. He missed only one week against Carlton and returned against the west coast and had 33 possessions and a goal.
“The drugs quickly took control – but he had to miss this week.
“I think the question here is not to know if she endangers her career – it is if her shortcomings against North Melbourne next week.
“It goes without saying that this club will not risk it in any way (wines).
“You think that potentially it is missing a week, then if it can remove the tick from his cardiologist, it may be back fairly quickly – as worrying as this episode was today.”
