We have another big Premier League weekend on the horizon as the finish line looms.

Fulham vs Liverpool: draw at half-time (13/8)

Liverpool have ceded the initiative in the Premier League title race in recent weeks, drawing 2-2 with Manchester United and then suffering a shock 1-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace.

Both results saw Liverpool drop to third place, although they are just two points behind Manchester City at the top.

Jurgen Klopp’s side need to regroup and get back on track, but they have looked a little weak of late.

They also have an unnecessary knack for conceding the first goal: Liverpool’s opponents have broken the deadlock in 14 of their 32 matches, compared to 11 for Manchester City and seven for Arsenal.

The Reds were in action on Thursday night, which only increases the chances they will be slow out of the blocks at Craven Cottage.

Wolves vs Arsenal: Arsenal will win (4/11)

Arsenal were also beaten last weekend, losing 2-0 to Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.

They were then knocked out of the Champions League on Wednesday night, as Bayern Munich won 1-0 in Germany.

Arsenal’s season is in danger of collapsing, so it’s vital they nip this downturn in the bud against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Gary O’Neil’s side can be tricky opponents for the division’s top teams, as Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have discovered the hard way in 2023/24.

Arsenal may have to get through this, but we think they have a chance of doing so, mainly due to their defensive solidity.

Luton Town vs Brentford: both teams score and over 2.5 goals (4/5)

Brentford supporters were able to breathe a sigh of relief after a 2-0 victory over Sheffield United last time out.

One more win would almost certainly guarantee the Bees a place in the Premier League next season, but Luton Town need much more than that.

One point from safety before the weekend, they will move out of the relegation zone (at least temporarily) by triumphing here.

The Luton showdown doesn’t look too daunting on paper, but their defensive record is concerning.

Their games this season average 3.5 goals, while both teams have scored in a record 26 matches involving the Hatters.

Pick both teams to score and over 2.5 goals at 4/5 with bet365

Everton vs Nottingham Forest: Under 2.5 goals (10/11)

There will be plenty of tension at Goodison Park on Sunday when these two relegation rivals clash.

Everton were beaten 6-0 by Chelsea on Monday night, leaving them just two points clear of the drop zone.

Nottingham Forest are one point below Everton and one above Luton Town in 18th place, so this is a crucial clash for both sides.

With just one win in their last 15 Premier League outings, confidence within the Everton camp is low.

Given their struggles in attack, Sean Dyche’s side will be keen to keep things tight in defence. Goals might be few and far between in this one.

Tip under 2.5 goals as of 10/11 with bet365

Aston Villa vs Bournemouth: Aston Villa winner (3/4)

All of a sudden, it looks like the Premier League won’t be given an extra Champions League spot after several English teams were eliminated from Europe in midweek.

This is bad news for Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, who are now locked in a two-way fight for the all-important fourth place.

Villa have a three-point lead and a superior goal difference, even though Spurs have played a game less.

And with the north Londoners not in action this weekend, Unai Emery’s side have the chance to move six points clear of their rivals for the final Champions League spot.

Villa won’t have it their way against Bournemouth, who are aiming for a place in the top half. But Emery’s team should be able to get the job done somehow.

Aim for an Aston Villa win at 3/4 with bet365
