Tributes were paid to a 21 -year -old Peruvian footballer after his death at the hospital following this horror collision in front of his anxious family.
Helar Gonzales Altamirano was withdrawn from the field on a stretcher to an ambulance pending after being eliminated when he broke a goalkeeper from the rival team while leaving for a long ball.
His brother Eliceo, who always asked people to pray for Helar on Tuesday on social networks, confirmed Thursday that he had lost his fight for life later the same day.
He attributed his death after Sunday collision to the break of an artery in his brother’s head.
