LOUCKS brings a richness of knowledge and experience in professional, college and international basketball. He specializes in teaching on the field and the development of players and recently served as an assistant coach of the Kings of Sacramento after spending time for staff with the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns.

LOUCKS was part of a staff who led the Warriors to the NBA consecutive championships, winning the 2017 title in five games on Cleveland riders and repeating in 2018 with a scan of the riders. The Warriors displayed a record of 46-14 in four-seasons playoffs with the franchise, including a 16-1 brand in the 2017 qualifying series which set the NBA record for the best percentage of victories in a single qualifying series.

Before returning to Tallahassee to direct the state of Florida, Loucks passed the three previous seasons as an assistant coach for the Kings of Sacramento. He was the defensive coordinator of Sacramento in 2024-25, helping the Kings to their best defensive performance in 20 seasons. During his first two seasons, he worked with the Kings offensive.
