Florence Pugh Breaks Down the Head Shaving Scene from ‘We Live in Time’



‘Oppenheimer’ Actress Admits to Keeping Her Hair Cut Safely

Florence Pugh revealed an extremely heartbreaking scene from We live in time, which was totally his idea.

Pugh plays “Almut” in the film, who is undergoing treatment for cancer. To make her character believable, the Oscar-nominated actress shaved her head for real.

There is a scene in the film where Andrew Garfield can be seen cutting Florence’s hair.

Eventually, the whole family gets their hair cut back and, according to the 28-year-old, that was her suggestion in the film.

By speaking to Reigns with Josh Smith podcast, the Midday The actress said: “I’ve cut my hair several times and I always feel very sad when I don’t take it with me.”

She explained the gist of the entire scene, while sharing that she wasn’t scared or hinted at all.

“The whole day was magical. It really didn’t scare or intimidate me. Andrew was visibly slightly intimidated because he was afraid of ruining everything.

“I told him, ‘we’re going to shave my head, that’s what it’s going to be like and it’s going to be a great time.’ It was such a special day… I still have (the box of hair) .

THE Oppenheimer The star opened up that she deliberately chose to look like that. “I wanted vanity out of the picture.”
