An impressive range of musicians gathers for a good cause Thursday evening.
The first of the two concerts being collectively called Fireaid will soon launch at the Kia Forum in the city of Los Angeles in Inglewood, to support rescue efforts following dead forest fires that ignited earlier this month in the region From Los Angeles, claiming 29 lives and causing billions of dollars in damage.
The shows, which take place in two sites, collect funds “for the reconstruction of communities devastated by forest fires and support efforts to prevent future shooting disasters throughout southern California”, according to a press release press.
Among the artists who perform during concerts are Angelenos Billie Eilish, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Gracie Abrams.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform at the Kia Forum, just like Alanis Morissette, Green Day, Pink, without a doubt, Joni Mitchell, The Black Crowes, Stephen Stills, John Mayer and Stevie Nicks.
The second concert – scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. PT at the intuit Dome nearby – will show Eilish and Abrams, with Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Earth, Wind & Fire, Jelly Roll, Lil Baby, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Rod Stewart , Sting, Tate McRae and Stevie Wonder.
Viewers around the world can watch, broadcast and make contributions to Fireaid on platforms, including Apple Music, Apple TV, Max, Peacock, Ktla +, Netflix / Tudum, Paramount +, Prime Video and more, from 6 p.m. PT / 9 a.m. HE Thursday. The concert will also be broadcast on 860 Iheartradio radio stations.
Contributions will be distributed under the opinion of the Annenberg Foundation, which will “help coordinate a team to lead funds for the greatest impact” and will provide “short -term rescue efforts and long -term initiatives to warn Future fire disasters ”, a press release said.
According to the Fireaid website, each donation made during the live flow Thursday evening will be a matching dollar for a dollar.
