A fire broke out Tuesday in West Hollywood, California, just off Los Angeles’ famous Sunset Boulevard, amid the windstorm that exacerbated a wildfire in the Pacific Palisades.
“Firefighters stopped the progress of a fire that threatened homes in West Hollywood, off the Sunset Strip, as the area experienced powerful winds in anticipation of an afternoon windstorm.” reported Fox 11.
“The fire was reported shortly before 10:10 a.m. near Sunset and La Cienega boulevards,” the statement added. “Sunset Boulevard.” was closed from Queens Road to Hayvenhurst Drive due to the shooting.
No injuries or property damage were reported and the fire’s progression ended around 10:51 a.m. PT on Monday.
