Spoiler alert: the following reveals the main points of the plot of the final of the series of Hulu‘s The history of the servant.
Hulu The history of the servant concluded its race this evening after 8 years and 6 seasons, after June Osbourne (Elisabeth Moss) In his fight to get rid of the world of evil.
Although there were victories for the rebellion, Gilead lives with many strongest allies in June trapped there at the start of the episode, like Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) and Janine (Madeline Brewer). Her beloved daughter Hannah is not free, but she learns that she will be closer to her.
In a first scene from the episode, June reconnects with Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) and her little boy, Noah. These women have traveled a long path of fatal enemies that they were during most of the first seasons. June was the former servant of Serena, and there is no way that they could be friends, but in the end, they reached a point of respect. Serena congratulates June for her victory, and June told Serena that they could not have done it without her.
Things become a little tense between them for a brief moment when Serena gives June her condolences for the loss of Nick (Max Mighella), who died on an airplane last week alongside his stepfather, Commander Wharton (Josh Charles) and Commander Lawrence (Bradley Whitford).
The conversation lights up when Serena said to June, “You know, if he thought he had a real choice, he would have chosen you.” June, while holding Noah, makes a warm smile in Serena.
Serena faces the fact that she can never return to Gilead because too many people want her to die. Lost that she goes ahead, June suggests that she is only Noah’s mother.
Mark TUELLO (Sam Jaeger) mixes Serena on a bus that will lead her in a place where she and her baby will be safe. It could be the last moment that June and Serena see each other, leaving the latter to say.
“June, when I remember some of the things that have been done to you, things I have done and forced you to do, I’m ashamed,” she said with tears in her eyes.
June replies: “You should be”.
Serena adds: “Yes, and I’m sorry. If the words mean something, I’m sorry.”
Then, something really divine happens for these two women, something that June could not be done before this moment.
“I forgive you, Serena.
Serena thanks June with real remorse in her heart: “May God bless you, June. The two women are now free from the evil ties that have linked them.
Mark could not believe what he had just witnessed, and honestly, neither. June, in mind by example. He has more news to share: his old neighborhood has opened. She will thank Mark, but wonders if he is Captain Tullo, to which he notices: “He is a commander, in fact.”
As she advances, she stops and looks in an empty shop. A woman appears next to her, sharing that space was a ice cream store. When they turned abroad, I shouted.

Alexis Bledel returns as Dr Emily Malek !! Viewers have not seen her in the series since she left in the fourth season. June is just as stunned. Women kiss, have changed forever because of their shared experience as servants. They catch up and Emily reveals that she was in Bridgeport, a “hot spot for the rebellion,” she said before adding: “I was a Martha, the commander was a friend.”
The pair catches up and spends a good afternoon together. Later, Mark did June in June in the middle of the night for something important. She is half asleep, and she freezes outside, when she sees a silhouette led by a few men walking towards her. She is a woman thrown on the icy snow – it’s Janine. She is a bit worse for wear, but Janine is a warrior. She was much worse, but always fighting for her life.
In other shocking events, Naomi (Every Carradine) then appeared with Angela in her arms and aunt Lydia by her side. Naomi shares a sweet end moment with Angela, which she raised, but was born from Janine and the deceased husband of Naomi, Commander Putnam (Stephen Kunken). Janine initially appointed it Charlotte, but Naomi insisted that the name of the daughter was Angela.
Janine is curled up on the lap of June when Naomi approaches with the child, without the knowledge of Janine. June said to Janine: “Look who is here.” Janine is amazed to see that she is her little girl and begins to laugh and cry simultaneously. While the realization settles in the extent that they were gathered forever, Janine is submerged and grateful.

June thanks Naomi for doing the right thing, knowing how difficult it was for her. Aunt Lydia asks June to take care of Janine and Charlotte, and June also thanks her.
“Blessed is the woman who does not work in the weak with the weak,” said June, paraphrasing Psalm 1.1.
Moss is brilliant in this final, showing a tortured and terrorized woman, whose heart was broken again and again, but survived. She sees the fruits of her sacrifice becoming reality one by one, and it is glorious. His emotions and facial expressions capture something that simple words could never. Everything June has experienced led her at this time.
She is back at the bus deposit, and many people are waiting for their loved ones, including June and Luke (Ot Fagbenle). June spots her mother, Holly Maddox (Cherry Jones), and her daughter Nicole, whom she shares with Nick, Rip. It is a big meeting and there are only smiles for kilometers.
June tells Nicole her plans for the future, wanting to protect all the little girls like her and her sister of Gilead. Holly listens tenderly then June tells her that she will have to leave her again in the company of her grandmother, a little longer. However, Holly is panicked to learn June must continue to fight, but she understands. Holly understands and is proud of who her daughter grew up. She promises to tell Nicole how her mother is a warrior.

Luke and June have a tack on their relationship. After all that happened, they don’t know themselves as they did, but maybe there is time to start again. June did not give up bringing back their daughter Hannah, and she said so much to Luke in a touching moment. Luke hears about his plans back to Gilead and tells June that he will meet her there.
Since he became rebellious, Luke has evolved a lot as a character. In this last episode, the pair seems more synchronized in their life missions and which they are after all that has been passed. An excellent example is when Luke tells June that it is normal to love people who were in his life, including Nick. June still has so many emotions and trauma to treat, but she is in a better place.
Serena landed in a place to spend the night and is frustrated. There is nothing that her son needs, like wipes, diapers and fresh clothes. She remembers that June gave her a bag, and when she opens it, as if by magic, there is everything they need and more. Good old June, always thinking of the needs of others and wanting to help.
Later, June returns to the charred remains of Waterford’s house, where it all started for her. She looks in her old room, grateful to have survived. June releases an audio recorder and begins to dictate his experiences after being encouraged by her mother and Luke to write a book on her story.
At the time of closing, she finished her recording.
“My name is Ofred,” said June before looking directly at the camera with a smile.
