The sickening video of Sean “Diddy” Combs throwing Cassie Ventura, his former girlfriend, to the ground, then kicking and dragging her, brutally demonstrates the need to protect victims of domestic violence.
There are far too many Venturas, including in the federal civil service.
Their pain may be more than physical and psychological. The financial hit could be as bad as Combs’ kicks, not only to the person, but also to the public. After CNN released video of the beating last week, Combs acknowledged his actions, saying in a statement that he was “truly sorry.” But excuses like his don’t make any pain go away.
