FDA improves the recall of Lay’s Crustry at the most serious level: NPR

A reminder of the FDA on the scene The croustilles originally issued in December were improved by the agency at its highest risk level.

Three things to know

1. The original recall was issued in mid-December, with more than 6,000 bags of 13 oz from Lay. Classic chip bags withdrawn from Washington and Oregon shelves.
2. The ingredient of the identified problem was “unsuccessful milk” which presents a risk for those with sensitivities or serious allergies.
3. On January 27, the FDA improved the recall in “class I”, their most serious, which means that, “the use or exposure to a violating product will result in serious unfavorable consequences or death”, according to their site Web.

What other reminders have occurred recently?

It seems that the eggs cannot stay outside the headlines as a reminder of the eggs of the Kirkland brand, sold in Costco, received the same designation in late December after the FDA published a voluntary reminder in November.

The recall covered 10,800 egg packs at 24 counts, sold under the signing brand of Kirkland and described as biological and high in grazing.
