Daniel Jones injury update

Jones remains on concussion protocol, so he hasn’t trained with the team this week. However, like Teddy Bridgewater last week, he has been seen throwing passes over side court and is getting work in limited capacity. Joe Judge has said that “everything is on the right track” in his recovery, and it’s obvious New York thinks he has a chance to play for this game. Again, we saw Bridgewater in a similar situation last week during protocol, and he ended up starting for Denver and played well late in their game against the Steelers.

That said, it’s hard to speculate on a concussion, so we’re at the mercy of injury reports. If he plays, we have Jones as QB13 for week 6. We’ll see if Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and / or Kenny Golladay (knee) play, but the emergence of Kadarius Toney should help Jones get points. easy fancy. Assuming all is well with his concussion, he should also have plenty of opportunities as a scrambler with Saquon Barkley (ankle) out for at least a week. If Mike Glennon starts, he should be seen as one of the last options to play in fantasy, but we know some people will need to start him in two-QB / superflex leagues.

Update on Tua Tagovailoa’s injuries

Tagovailoa (ribs) would have started well on Monday and took the training ground on Wednesday. Barring a setback, it looks like Tua will adjust for the first time since blasting his ribs in week two. Luckily for him, the game couldn’t have been much better against Jacksonville in London.

Miami has some talented players who should be able to take advantage of the Jags’ modest secondary, but we’ll temper expectations a bit and rank Tua as QB21 this week. If Jacoby Brissett takes the start, he will be ranked the same.
