Welcome to RP Roundup, my article Daily Fantasy Baseball reviews the performance of each launcher every Monday. I apologize for the jokes written in my delirium in advance. Do you have any questions? Ask me during my office hours on reading.
Max Meyer (Mia) Vs fifs (W) – 6.0 IP, 0 er, 5 strokes, 0 BBS, 14 ks – 24 puffs,, 49% CSW92 locations.
Today should be a lesson in what matters in training in the spring. Sometimes we hear about a new land where we can worry about a drop in speed. With Max Meyer, It was more than 3 speed checks All, While introducing an angle of the lower arm, a new sweeper and a much larger embrace of lead. We jumped and caught it at the end of the sketches (even on the Marlins) and after a quartet of solid outings, he finally gave us the night of our dreams:
6.0 IP, 0 er, 5 strokes, 0 BBS, 14 ks – 24 Whiffs, 49% CSW92 locations.
Just look Guy. He almost went half of its locations for a strike or a puff called. His cursor seated 90/91 MPH with 16/40 puffs on the ground, while the change was hot at 53% CSW and 84% strikes 39% use of LHB. Its four runners and its lead set to 95 mph and pumped in the area all day, and the sweeper did his part with 87 mph of spinners to keep the strikers of everything else.
Of course, the reds are not great on the road. We know it. However, Meyer was absurd. It was a pure stallion, and the fact that he went 14/18 withdrawal via Way of the K is Goodkers. Here is the celebration of a young arm that finally finds its peak. Now don’t let go.
Let’s see how all the other SPs did Monday:
Brown hunter (Hou) vs (W) – 7.0 IP, 0 er, 2 strokes, 1 BBBs, 9 ks – 12 whiffs,, 33% CSW96 locations.
Okay, he sits 97/98 MPH for another departure, you brown me. Great clarification with the change and I am shocked that he did not make more prosecution against LHB. The cursor remained in his quadrant and the curve did whatever he wanted, but that is really all about the combo with fourout / lead and if you can live above 97 mph with almost 19 ″ green, so yes, it’s enough dope. Continue to make this next start and I will go up powerfully on the list.
Tylor Megill (Nym) vs phi (W) – 5.1 IP, 0 er, 1 strokes, 4 BBS, 10 ks – 14 Whiffs,, 38% CSW92 locations.
Eh. It looks like a line that I should be Really Ample and don’t get me wrong, it’s great, but it was both ineffective and effective. Its strike rates? Terrible! Sinker and Slider failed to reach 50% of strikes. Their CSW? Amazing! Strikers took out of the zone throws, took called Strikes, or swung and missed during the area. The match plan was clearly to allow Megill to fight as much as possible, and they almost got away if it was not for Megill to run consistently on two -strike accounts. But it makes me a little careful about the future. I don’t know, what a weird game.
Walker Buehler (Bos) vs chw (W) – 7.0 IP, 1 st, 4 strokes, 3 BBS, 9 ks – 11 Whiffs,, 34% CSW100 throws.
Whoooooa Nelly, look at that! Buehler understood it! Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, there were a lot of Blame it on the white sox Here and its four runners + curve + change are all very suspicious, but there is a pleasure to draw from it. His sweeper was fantastic for RHB, the cutter worked against LHB (although there have been a good number of offers to increase eyebrows at RHB), and I could distinguish the general game plan much better than usual. You must always be a solid arm to turn this kind of line, even against the Crysox, and I suppose it means that we are taking a tour against the guards. Sigh. Okay, let’s see how it goes.
Spencer Schwellenbach (ATL) VS STL (Nd) – 7.0 IP, 2 er, 8 strokes, 0 BBS, 5 ks – 9 Whiffs,, 22% CSW92 locations.
I’m not sure that it is the AGA level, unfortunately. I still do not see the cursor or the curve or the cutter transforming into dope McDopeface terrains that we want them to be, and the four runners is a little too much above the plate at the moment, but it also pumps ched at seven feet of extension with six different heights. I still love him, but I just want him to be a little better to locate the cursor’s piece. That’s it, really.
Gavin Williams (Key) vs nyy (W) – 6.1 IP, 2 er, 7 strokes, 2 BBS, 8 ks – 21 whiffs,, 37% CSW104 throws.
He did it. Gavouette Finally Throws a cutter! He launched only five. ALWAYS! PROGRESS! It was not the reason for this success, however. He was able to return to 65% + of the strikes on each of his main trio, demolishing with four runners upstairs up to the LHB and RHB, curves up to LHB and sweepers lying around Rhb. Gavin was at his peak here, and even his 1-2 curve for a two-point shot in the seventh (Attention, iCarus)) was a solid step at the bottom of the area. The only question is whether it can maintain these skills (probably not), and I hope that we will see this cutter in the future when he doesn’t Have the same curve and the same feeling of a sweeper.
Erick Fedde (STL) @ ATL (Nd) – 6.0 IP, 2 er, 5 strokes, 3 BBS, 3 ks – 5 puffs,, 23% CSW84 throws.
That Spider Will be mine. Ok fedde, whatever you say. How is Shiner? Wacha gave me a cheap photo! Of course he did. Good luck to Cincy next time, I think I will go there.
Robbie Ray (SFG) vs millet (Nd) – 5.0 IP, 2 er, 5 strokes, 3 BBS, 4 ks – 12 whiffs,, 28% CSW92 locations.
Ray, you did so many upset people and angry with me when I didn’t drop you on the list. They do not see what I see – you launch as many Dang radiators and do not find a rhythm with your cursor, your change and this curve, for which you never pick up the phone for any reason. They just want to talk, Ray! Remind them! Seriously, Ray refused to throw something other than radiators why, the first 40 throws about? It is good to watch it take place, especially when the change returned 50% CSW When he finally unleashed it. This walking rate and overall production will Go better once he does not try to ensure that everything takes place with his four runners, and those who mean “he has always been a high walking arm!” I do not understand the transformation he had in Toronto to finally become an arm first in the area. Even here, it is not as chaotic as before. The man just needs to leave his cursor, change, curve and even lead Share the load. I believe in you, Ray, even if everyone just wants to look at the rate of whip and walking. I know who you really are.
Quinn prayer (Millet) @ Sfg (Nd) – 4.0 IP, 2 er, 4 strokes, 4 BBS, 3 ks – 8 puffs,, 27% CSW81 throws.
Prayer threw his cursor more than any other field at 38%, which makes sense because everything else had a typing rate of 53% or less. Oh wow. Yuuuup. It is not ready for your fantastic teams.
Nick Lodolo (Cin) @ Mia (L) – 5.2 IP, 3 er, 7 strokes, 2 BBS, 4 ks – 11 Whiffs,, 28% CSW99 locations.
A far from a VPQS Against the Marlins watching Meyer spend the night of his life is a fairly sad evening for Lodolo. Quite strange to see only 1/31 puffs on his four runners, because he did not place a lot in large places above the plate. In any case, we brush this and continue to start man. He obtains such Lateral movement on its radiators and this may be due in part to the lack of LHB that he faced.
Keider Montero (DET) VS SDP (Nd) – 4.1 IP, 3 er, 5 strokes, 4 BBS, 3 ks – 9 Whiffs,, 26% CSW92 locations.
I continued to look at this line and hope that it was palindromic. It was the most interesting part, after all. Continue to throw pellets inside with a grand cursor, I dig this part all day. Quite simply not the game with few strikes and terrible four sailors.
Aaron Nola (Phi) @ Nym (L) – 6.1 IP, 4 er, 7 strokes, 2 BBS, 6 ks – 12 whiffs,, 30% CSW101 throws.
Blegh. Oh look at that, another Attention, iCarus De Nola while he was fired with two men in the seventh to make them mark both. You know, if they pulled it after six years, we will sing its praises. It’s baseball, Suzyn. I always think that its order is quite good, but the fast ball speed continues to fall. We are talking on average 89.8 MPH lead. Yikes. The curve can only do a lot.
Canon Jonathan (CHW) @ Bos (L) – 6.0 IP, 4 er, 6 strokes, 4 BBS, 4 ks – 5 puffs,, 23% CSW90 throws.
Cannon tried something new by going to 61% of cutters to LHB and that … Has worked a bit? Welp, lead still cannot go far inside for Rhb, the four runners is terrible, And it floats a few sweepers too much above the plate for my taste. Save the opening for another day.
Kevin Gausman (TOR) @ Hou (L) – 6.0 IP, 4 er, 6 strokes, 3 BBS, 6 ks – 14 Whiffs,, 35% CSW96 locations.
Oh hey! The puffs of separator come back! 8/35 Wiffs with a… 46% strike rate. We cannot have everything. Its radiator was the ground called, it is supposed to be, and I cannot believe that it launched 44% of CSW sliders without damage. It’s a cool thing, but clearly not enough to change this game. I think you would better try something else. Everything is right like this… no point Gausman.
Clarke Schmidt (Nyy) @ Key (L) – 4.0 IP, 5 er, 7 strokes, 3 BBS, 7 ks – 13 puffs,, 33% CSW80 throws.
Bleeegh. At least, is it 80 throws now? Schmidt had to face a ton of LHB, which it is better to deal with a few years ago, but its capacities pale compared to the destruction it can trigger in RHB. I know that we are happy that he is back from the IL, but it is not a locking that he will suddenly be the Holly or even the Toby We want him to be. It can take him for a while to find the order of old. Do not force yourself to hold.
Randy Vásquez (SDP) @ Det (L) – 2.0 IP, 6 er, 5 strokes, 3 BBS, 1 ks – 7 Whiffs,, 19% CSW68 throws.
I understand perfectly if it’s your jam, but I’m not going to defend everyone to register for the VR camp.
Game of the day
Will Warren against Tanner Bibee – Warren has a lower arm angle but comes out of a terrible game while Bibee has not yet become his best me.
