NBA fans were forced to leave Chase Center in San Francisco on Saturday evening after a fire alarm was fired in the middle of the NBA Warriors-Pistons match.
The disturbing scenes took place at the end of the first quarter when a scary message appeared on the huge screen above the field, urging fans to go to the outings.
The message said: “Please note: a fire alarm was reported in the building. Go to the nearest exit and leave the building. Do not use elevators.
Journalists covering the game said that some fans had immediately followed the instructions and rushed to the exit, while others had stayed in their seats.
It is not yet known if the alarm was a test or a real incident, but the game continued shortly after, although some fans have left their seats.
Bay Area’s sports journalist, Cam Inman, wrote on X shortly after the end of the alarm that “20% of fans had left their seats for outings”, before they told them that they could come back.

A message from the fans said: “ attention fans, we have just received the clear signal. You can return to your seats.
It was also reported shortly after the incident that all the sounds of music and arena had been arrested in the Chase Center following the alarm.
A fan present wrote on X: “First a fire alarm, then no sound system at the @warriors game. Hey @Chasecenter what’s going on?! We want our music to come back.
