Fans spot Jamie Vardy ‘rattling’ West Brom fans with gesture after huge Leicester win

Jamie Vardy was spotted making a cheeky gesture towards West Brom fans after his side’s victory at the top of the table.

As well as being best known for propelling Leicester to the Premier League title in 2016, the Foxes icon is also one of football’s biggest clearance merchants.

Now West Brom fans have become his latest victims.

As the striker strolled onto the pitch to celebrate his team’s 2-1 victory in front of the home fans after the final whistle, television cameras captured the moment he faced the moving section.

Catching their attention by pointing down repeatedly, Vardy appeared to repeatedly utter the words “stay down”, referring to West Brom currently being in the play-offs.

Fans on social media were bursting into laughter at the time, with one writing: “Ha ha ha Vardy loves playing Albion! #lcfc liquidation king.”

“Vardy shook the West Brom fans at the end. Wouldn’t change the world,” wrote a second.

Meanwhile, a third said: “Vardy absolutely gives West Brom fans the FT.”

The 37-year-old was clearly on cloud nine after scoring what would prove to be the winning goal to seal the Foxes’ return to the top of the Championship table.

He also missed a penalty in the match to complete Wilfred Ndidi’s opener and make it 2-0, but judging by his celebrations at the end, it didn’t tarnish his afternoon.
