Nike has published a new series of their alternative “City Connect” uniforms for the major league baseball teams – and it seems that a team fans are not particularly satisfied with their new jerseys.
The Giants of San Francisco seem to be the first team to start their new alternative uniforms when they are putting on the new failures on April 8 for a match against the Reds of Cincinnati.
But it seems that the images of these new uniforms have already struck the internet – leading to contempt of giant fans.
As published on social networks by Talkin ‘Baseball, images of a dark gray jersey with what seems to be altitude lines has appeared.
More detailed images have been visible on the X @Bayareabryy account.
The uniforms present white bubble text which says “giants” at the front and has the same type for numbers at the rear. The signage plate is just in orange. It also has purple and orange accents around the text and on the sleeves.
Fans of the San Francisco giants are not particularly happy after new uniforms have disclosed

The new uniforms of the “City Connect” giants are being played by fans for their vibrations of the 90s

Fans of Giants were not particularly satisfied with their old “City Connect” uniforms, as we can see above
Fans of the Giants – and Baseball – began to tear the jerseys on social networks.
“The Giants were a serious franchise,” wrote a user on X, formerly Twitter. “It’s so bad.
Another pointed out: “Is it designed by Nickelodeon for HR Splash?
“Why do they continue to turn them off?” And what is purple? These resemble a kind of work of aerosol paint graffiti from the early 80s to the late 80s ”, said another X user.
“It looks like the children of Let the Sunday Little League conceive their own uniforms,” said another.
“Horrible but always an upgrade compared to the latter,” said another user.
It is in reference to the uniforms of the Giants “ Original ” City Connect ‘- an all white number with an orange gradient’ G ‘on the front and the Golden Gate Bridge on the sleeves.
The “City Connect” uniforms are generally linked to the culture of a city – be it the Boston marathon for the Red Sox, Houston’s links with NASA for Astros or Milwuakee links with the beer industry for brewers.
However, it remains to be seen what was the inspiration for these jerseys.
