Fans make the same joke as images of Sandro Tonali and his girlfriend arriving in Newcastle emerge

Sandro Tonali and his girlfriend arrived in Newcastle but rival fans were all laughed at after touching down via a private jet.
In one of the most ambitious transfers of the summer, Newcastle paid £52m for Tonali from AC Milan.

This made the midfielder the most expensive Italian of all time and the second most expensive player at St. James’ Park after Alexander Isak.
Under manager Eddie Howe, the Magpies will play in the Champions League next season after a sensational season in which they finished fourth and are now showing financial muscle.
But after flying around the city on a private jet with his girlfriend Juliette Pastore, some fans pointed out that Tonali didn’t look too impressed after swapping his life in Milan for Toon.
One replied to a tweet posted by Newcastle’s official account: “He looks absolutely delighted to be here, it’s going to be a flop I think.”

Another sarcastically posted, “He looks so happy…”
A third said: “Ready for Milan next year. Lukaku style. He looks upset to be there.”
While this supporter said: “He looks absolutely devastated.”
Despite many rival fans scoffing at Tonali’s arrival, the club is undoubtedly a very exciting place at the moment and the Newcastle faithful will simply view it as jealousy.

And the Italian denied rumors he was unhappy when he was later pictured in a Magpies shirt with two thumbs up and a big smile.
It was also very telling that Tonali’s girlfriend Juliette wore a black and white top as she stepped off the plane, a nice nod to the Newcastle colors that fans would have loved.
Howe has also implemented a real team ethos at St. James’ Park, as fans absolutely adore their new heroes.
This includes Bruno Guimaraes, who recently became a father for the first time and admitted his son is a Geordie.
Speaking about his visits to the city of Newcastle, the Brazilian said: “When I go out with my parents the fans always want to talk to me and I also feel like a Geordie now.
“My son was born in Newcastle so he really is a Geordie! I don’t know if he will play for England, you have to be here for five years for that to happen.
“It will be his choice. I think he will like the town and the people who live there, my wife and I will leave it to him.”
Newcastle have other plans to strengthen their squad in the transfer window and are working on a deal to sign young star Tino Livramento from Southampton.
Goncalo Inacio, Kieran Tierney and Harvey Barnes have also all been linked with a move to the Magpies.
