Fans on social networks were quick to make fun of Erling Haaland on what he did during the first half of the FA Cup final on Saturday.
Manchester City followed 1-0 when Bernardo Silva won a penalty kick to give his team a chance in gold to equalize against Crystal Palace in Wembley.
Haaland initially seemed ready to kick, even more after kissing the ball.
However, it then happened that the kiss was apparently to wish Omar Marmoush luck when Haaland gave the ball to his teammate.
Unfortunately for City, this does not bring Marmoush’s good fortune because the Egyptian saw his efforts saved by the palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
Reacting to the incident on X (formerly Twitter), a fan wrote: “Haaland kissed the ball which was a death kiss”.

Another added: “Cracking Save. Made the best by the kiss Daft Haaland Ball before putting it back.
The former arsenal fan TV regular Troopz tweeted: “Haaland with the kiss of death Lol Madting”.
Meanwhile, a fourth comment said: “Haaland gave this ball the” cheese touch “with this kiss.
Henderson may have had the chance to be on the ground when he saved Marmoush’s penalty.
The palace goalkeeper fled by manipulating the ball away outside his penalty area earlier in the first half.
Henderson’s handball was missed by the referee on Stuart Attwell, before the Var decides that he was not worthy of a red card, although he seems to deny Haaland a chance to clearly mark.
All of this occurred after Ebelechi Eze pulled the 1-0 palace in the 16th minute.
