The clocks moving forward on Sunday morning may well have sparked a bit of understandable confusion at Sky Sports.

Broadcasting giants Sky Sports will show one of the biggest matches of the year live from the Etihad Stadium.

Ahead of kick-off, they posted on X to remind fans what time their coverage starts, which they say starts at 5pm UK time.

However, fans were quick to notice what was just an innocent mistake in the now-deleted post, with kick-off scheduled for 4.30pm.

“From 5 p.m.? Are you sure? You know the match starts at 4:30, right,” one replied.

A second added: “5pm? 30 minutes after the match kicked off??”

“Brilliant can’t wait to miss the first 30 minutes,” a third joked.

A confused fourth added: “It doesn’t start at halftime 4?”

Sky Sports Premier League coverage is set to begin at 4pm following the Liverpool v Brighton broadcast.

Sky Sports incorrectly said its coverage would start half an hour after the match started.

The Reds are also aiming for the title, but all eyes will be on the Etihad later today for a possible season-deciding match.

Pep Guardiola will face his former assistant manager Mikel Arteta without Kyle Walker and John Stones due to injury.

Arsenal have also had doubts over Gabriel, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, but Arteta says “there is a chance” they could play.

The Gunners won 1-0 in the reverse fixture, so City will be desperate for revenge as a point separates the two teams.

You can hear all the latest updates from the Etihad Stadium on talkSPORT and all the post-match reactions as former Premier League striker Troy Deeney joins Majestic on The Final Word at 6.30pm.
