Mohamed Salah seemed to have to be reassured that Liverpool did not get the rules when a little -known substitution rule came into play during their victory on Southampton.

This change in the rules of rules was apparently without the knowledge of Salah, which seemed desperate not to allow his team to do what he perceived as an expensive error.
