Fans fume over Bobby Goldfinn’s return

Tonight’s (Thursday 30 May) edition of Britain’s Got Talent saw the fourth semi-final of the series take place.

However, surprise, the semi-final began with the return of a rather familiar face…

Tonight’s edition of BGT saw a familiar face – or shall we say, a fish – make his return.

Bobby Golfdinn appeared several times during the series. Wearing a big goldfish mask, he walks on stage, tells a stupid joke and blows himself up.

The last time viewers saw him, he appeared on Sunday’s edition of the show during the series’ final auditions.

He was once again criticized by the judges of the time.

However, you can’t keep a good… fish… down – as we showed tonight. The show started with a security guard standing near the stage door, watching Bobby Goldfin’s audition on his phone. Unbeknownst to him, Bobby was sneaking up behind him!

In a pre-recorded sketch, Bobby could be seen knocking on Ant and Dec’s dressing room door.

“He’s back,” Dec smiled, looking directly at the camera.

As the live show got underway, Ant and Dec were interrupted during their semi-final introduction by Bobby himself.

The mysterious group moved around the stage, trying to tell a knock-knock joke – driving the crowd crazy.

However, Bruno Tonioli slightly cooled the atmosphere by activating his red buzzer.

Ant and Dec then grouped Bobby off stage – with viewers still unsure who is Really behind the mask…

Fans are furious about Bobby’s return

If Bobby expected his semi-final appearance to be a success, he will be sorely disappointed. Many viewers took to Twitter to complain about Bobby’s return.

“These Bobby Goldfinn bitches are just that – bitches,” one fan fumed. “Not the goldfish,” said another.

“The goldfish is beyond funny at this point. The joke is dead,” wrote a third.

“Oh no, not that damn goldfish,” grumbled another. “I’ll say it, I’m sick of this goldfish,” said a fifth.

However, some fans were happy to see the return of Bobby Goldfinn.

“Haha, the goldfish is back,” said one fan. “This fish act is absolutely 10/10 so funny,” another wrote.

Britain’s Got Talent continues tomorrow (Friday May 31) at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
