University basketball fans were stunned by the “best national hymns of all time” before the start of the national championship match by the Robert Carter retirement sergeant.
Carter went to Center Court de l’Alamodome in San Antonio and delivered the “star banner” without hiccups, in what has become a rarer feat these days.
With the players and staff of coaches from Florida and Houston a few meters away, Carter sang the anthem in military uniform in front of a massive national audience.
Carter sang the national anthem before several NFL and college football games in the past, including the 2022 service match between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Chargers.
There have been a few piloting hymns before major sporting events in the past year, with the version of singer Country Ingrid Andress before Home Run Derby last July released among the massacred hymns.
Many university basketball fans went to social networks to sing the praises of the capacity of chair song.
