Liverpool supporters think they spotted a sign that Virgil Van Dijk will follow Mo Salah when signing a new contract on Friday.
The Reds announced on Friday morning that Salah finally put on paper on a new two -year agreement worth £ 375,000 per week, ending a saga of contract which threw its shadow on their brilliant campaign.
Liverpool has broken a golden rule by offering it a new agreement, because Fenway Sports Group is generally reluctant to distribute new contracts to players over 30 years old.
Salah’s contract had to expire in summer, a situation that Captain Van Dijk also finds himself.
Mail Sport reported earlier this week that the two stars were about to commit their future to the club and that fans have a theory to explain why Van Dijk will also do it on Friday.
The Redmen TV, which has nearly 700,000 subscribers, posted a photo of the two players side by side with their showing shirt numbers, writing: “The date of today is someone?”

Reds fans think that the two contracts will be announced on the date made up of their figures
Friday is April 11, which can also be written in 11/4, the figures of the shirts of Salah (11) and Van Dijk (4).
And supporters believe that their club has tactically waited until today to announce the two new offers.
“It must not be it,” wrote one in response to the viral post while another said “they surely did this on purpose”.
“Liverpool announcing 11 and 4 on 11/04 is absolutely goat level marketing if that happens,” wrote another.
“You think they planned it like that long,” joked another while one said “I thought that, Happy Friday Reds”.
In a statement that followed the announcement of its new agreement, Salah said: “ Confaut, I am very excited. We have a large team now. Before, we had an excellent team. But I signed because I think we have a chance to win other trophies and enjoy my football, “he told the club website.
“It’s great, I spent my best years here. I played eight years, I hope it is going to be 10 years old. Bating my life here, enjoying my football. I spent the best years of my career.
“I would like to say to (fans), I am very, very happy to be here. I have signed here because I think we can win a lot of great trophies together. Continue to support us and we will give our best, and I hope that in the future, we will win more trophies.

An contractual offer was on the table for some time, but Salah and his representative, Ramy Abbas, wanted a better deal. It is understood that Salah initially wanted an extension of three years, and although FSG did not give him that, they broke their traditional policy by offering him a new agreement at his age.
Salah had aroused the massive interest of Saudi Arabia in the past two years. This saw Al-Ittihad making an offer of 150 million pounds sterling in August 2023, which was quickly rejected by Liverpool.
The Saudis kept an interest in Salah and explored if they could convince him to join them this summer, while his Liverpool contract was to expire. The 32 -year -old has long been the “dream target” of Saudi Pro League.
