“Fall in the shower”

Christina Applegate has spoken candidly about her struggles with self-care amid her battle with multiple sclerosis.

The “Bad Moms” star, 52, called her co-host Jamie-Lynn Sigler the “Simon to my Garfunkel” on the latest episode of their “Messy” podcast Tuesday before joking, “That’s what my bush looks like at this point.”

“Shave when your belly is as big as mine,” she continued. “Because you have to lift it up and then go in… you know what I mean?”

Applegate then explained why it was so difficult for her: “You only have one hand and you’re trying to stand up, but you fall in the shower.”

“I know people with MS can relate to that,” the “Dead to Me” alum added. “You can’t go in there, lift your leg up and then move your big belly to see it.”

Sigler, 43, who has suffered from multiple sclerosis for 20 years, then advised: “You have to sit on the floor. You have to literally sit on the floor of your shower and contort yourself in weird ways.”

Since revealing her MS diagnosis in August 2021, Applegate has been extremely candid about how her life has changed due to the chronic disease that affects her central nervous system.

The “Sweetest Thing” star shared that she gained 40 pounds and couldn’t walk without a cane due to her illness and even had to wear diapers to avoid any accidents.

Applegate’s latest confession – which she made somewhat jokingly – comes after she said she “deflects” the pain of her debilitating illness with humor.

“My humor shield keeps me going, but of course, deep down you feel things and I kind of do it to deflect attention and also so people aren’t afraid to be around me,” the “Married…with Children” alum said on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” last December.

“You know, when people see me today as a disabled person, I want them to feel comfortable. To be able to laugh about it.”

Earlier this week, Applegate told her followers how she wanted to spend her “left” days — once again demonstrating her great sense of humor.

She wrote on X Wednesday: “There are things I want to do with the days I have left.

“I want to work with Shirley MacLaine and do pictures with Cher! And yes, my days are so busy. I’m just saying.”
