White had to cancel UFC 279 pre-fight press conference

After arriving at the arena, Diaz and his team enter it with an unidentified figure.

Two members of his crew throw water bottles at the man, who is believed to be Khamzat Chimaev, while UFC personnel, security and an off-duty Las Vegas police officer separate the two parties.

“F*** your team, b****! Team USA, motherf*****,” Diaz can be heard saying during the melee that helped UFC President Dana White cancels a press conference for the very first time.

The media session, held to promote the event, was initially delayed for 30 minutes before White appeared to tell the assembled press and fans that he would be taking the fighters out in pairs, explaining that it was a real “s*** show”. there, nodding backstage.

First out were Kevin Holland and Daniel Rodriguez to answer a few questions before being released, with Holland reiterating his boss’ comments when asked about what was going on.

It is believed that Holland and Chimaev first got into a physical altercation backstage in which Darren Till’s sparring partner kicked ‘Trailblazer’ in the chest.

Diaz and Chimaev also went behind the scenes

“Borz” then had a separate fight with Diaz and his team before the press conference was canceled and things got even crazier the next day.

Chimaev severely missed weight and was pulled from his fight with Diaz, which was supposed to headline the pay-per-view event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

After several hours of negotiations, White managed to save the show by pitting Diaz against Ferguson on the front page, while Chimaev was still able to compete despite being 7.5 pounds overweight as he fought Holland in a match of grudge.

Daiz’s video blog also gives fans a brief look at his weight cut and the immediate aftermath of Chimaev’s weight loss that put the entire UFC 279 fight card in jeopardy.
