The brisbane star Broncos, Ezra Mam, was spotted using an electric bike that would have broken the speed limit laws of Queensland.

This occurs months after his dangerous dangerous conviction in a Brisbane court.

In an article on social networks sent to the Daily Mail Australia, Mam was represented by posing alongside a Rogue V3 of Burleigh Company Oceanside Cycles, which he uses as a daily journey to train in Broncos to Red Hill.

On the Oceanside Bikes website, the bicycle is announced with a 48V 500 Watts engine, limited to 250 watts.

However, this does not respect the law of Queensland, which only authorizes electric bikes with motors assisted by the pedal up to 250 watts, whatever the temporary restrictions.

The website also indicates that the speed limit of 25 km / h of the bicycle can be easily unlocked for use on private roads.

When unlocked, similar bikes can almost double their speed without requiring pedaling.

In December, Mam pleaded guilty to a leader while the relevant drugs are present in the blood and driving without a license.

He received a fine of $ 850 and his license was disqualified for at least six months.

Mam had the chance not to be killed in the car accident in Brisbane when he was also spared the bag for his involvement in the accident.

On October 18, 2024, MAM was involved in a frontal collision by leading with a suspended permit and with cocaine in its system.

The accident led to minor injuries to a woman and her four -year -old daughter, who were passengers in an Uber. Mam admitted that he had consumed cocaine socially the day before the incident.

He pleaded guilty to accusations of driving with a relevant drug present in his blood and driving without a license. The Brisbane Court of First Instance inflicted a fine on $ 850 and disqualified its license for six months, without conviction.

The magistrate Mark Nolan described MAM’s actions as “stupid” and stressed the risks he has posed to himself and to the others.

“There is no room for illicit drugs in our community, and certainly no place for a person who consumes illicit drugs to take the wheel of a car,” he said.

The LNR has made a suspension of nine games to MAM and a fine of $ 30,000 for breaking the LNR code of conduct.

Brisbane Broncos have inflicted an additional fine of $ 90,000 and forced MAM to end a safe training program, engages in work or study locations and participates in well-being support programs in progress.

The CEO of Broncos, Dave Donaghy, said at the time that sanctions reflect the gravity of the incident and should dissuade similar behavior.

Mam expressed remorse, describing the incident as a “turning point” in his life and embarked on personal growth and the withdrawal of confidence.

“I now understand how dangerous and irresponsible my actions were – not only for me but for everyone on the road that day,” Mam wrote at the time.

He has undergone a four -week rehabilitation program and continues to receive advice.

Despite his suspension, Mam was allowed to train with the Broncos and should return to the second round of the LNR 2025 season.

Daily Mail Australia contacted the broncos brisbane to comment.
