Extras Wanted for Hallmark Movie Chiefs in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A local casting company is looking for extras to appear in the upcoming Hallmark movie Chiefs, which is being filmed in the Kansas City area.

Hallmark Media and the Kansas City Chiefs announced this week that they are teaming up for a new holiday film titled Holiday Touchdown: A Chef’s Love Story.

Wright/Laird Cast said they needed extras over 18.

Filming is scheduled to take place July 6-27 at locations across Kansas City, including the iconic GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, marking the first time the Arrowhead has been used as a filming location in a Hallmark movie.

Tyler Hynes (Shifting Gears, The Three Kings), Hunter King (Two Scoops of Italy, The Santa Summit) and Ed Begley Jr. (Young Sheldon, Better Call Saul) will star in the new film.

The film will center on a woman played by actress Hunter King and her desire to convince her family to win the fan of the year contest.

But it’s in the hands of the director of fan engagement, played by Hynes.

As they spend time together, things change when a lucky Chiefs hat belonging to his grandfather, played by Begley Jr., goes missing.
