Tyler Rake lives! At today’s Netflix TUDUM Global Fan Event, Chris Hemsworth announced he will reprise his role in Extraction 2, which will soon debut on the streamer. Along with news of Hemsworth’s return for the upcoming sequel, the streamer released a teaser for the action-packed film.

In May 2020, Netflix announced a Extraction the sequel was in the works with original writer Joe Russo attached to write the new script and Sam Hargrave as director. In the distance, we only see the pale silhouette of a figure sitting by the pool. Could it be Tyler, risen from the dead? Yes!

“There was always a simple motivation in the story, a ballet-like execution of action where you take a damaged character who has made a glaring mistake in the past and has a chance at redemption which could be fatal,” Russo said. . “What was essential was that we needed a muscular action director like Sam to be the main creative force in the execution of the action.”
