Exclusive: Why was Sai Reddy disgusted by Jagan?

The resignation of Vijay Sai Reddy of the Ysr Congress Party and membership in Rajya Sabha was not a sudden decision, but the culmination of various factors, which left him no option, said sources close to him .

According to these sources, since the YSRCP lost the legislative elections with a huge and humiliating margin, Sai Reddy tried to convince Jagan to take corrective measures and put order in the party, but all his suggestions have fallen into the ear of a deaf.

Having been a founding member of the YSRCP, Sai Reddy was aware of the realities on the ground, but with Jagan being surrounded by a group of leaders, who were still trying to put Sai Reddy on the touch in order to harvest rich profits from their proximity to Jagan .

What was more frustrating for Sai Reddy was the way Jagan was more about the Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) led by Rishi Raj Singh.

He firmly believed that it was Rishi who was responsible for having withdrawn him the position of regional coordinator in the north of Andhra.

Although Sai Reddy is not interested in presenting himself to the direct elections, Jagan has forced him to present himself in the Lok Sabha elections since Nellore only on the advice of Rishi and Sai Reddy had to face the humiliation by losing his seat.

Second, Sai Reddy was not satisfied with the way Jagan was promoting Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy in the party. While Chevireddy took control of the whole party throughout the state and even the affiliated wings of the party, Sai Reddy felt away.

The third reason why Sai Reddy was disgusted with Jagan was the undue importance given to another secretary general, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, and to his son Bhargav Reddy, who withdrew all the associates of Sai Reddy from the social media wing of the party.

Worse, Sai Reddy was shocked by the elevation of Sajjala as party coordinator.

The last and most important development that forced Sai Reddy to leave the party was the attempt of Jagan’s close collaborator to involve him in the alcohol scandal.

Apparently, this close collaborator, currently on the run, would have told the party leadership that he had given a lot of money to Sai Reddy, while the real beneficiaries were a former minister of Rayalasema and his son.
