In short, it is essentially a clear nail that has a natural and healthy appearance. “It’s about improving the natural nail rather than covering it with a complex color or design,” adds Santos. How naked you are for you too. “If you want to spice it up a little more, you can opt for a transparent or neutral varnish, subtle roses, beige and sweet whites that imitate the natural nail bed while offering a polite and well-designed look,” she suggests.

How to get the look

The most crucial part is the preparation. “You need a healthy base to make the naked look,” shares the artist Nail Priscilla Nguyen. It also recommends a good scrub and oil to make the skin soft and plump.

For your nails, everything you need is a few simple steps. “Gently push the cuticles with an orange wooden stick, shape your nails over your favorite length and gently drink the surface to smooth all ridges,” explains Santos. “Clean the bed of the nail using an alcohol pad to remove dust, oil or nail bed residues. This helps the varnish to better adhere and ensures impeccable finish.”

Then choose the transparent base layer that you want to use or simply opt for a shiny or satin finish layer. The finish you want depends on you, with a matt or satin effect that helps create a more discreet look.
