Final Phrase replaces the trigger with WPM with its unique take on the Battle Royale formula, replacing bullets with words. Here’s everything we know so far about this fast-paced showdown.
Developed by Button Mash, Final Sentence immerses players in tense multiplayer matches where precision is the only weapon that matters. Type fast, hit your target words, and survive against dozens of others in real time. Miss too many words and you’re out.
Final Sentence does not yet have a confirmed release date, but according to its Steam page, it is targeting a Q4 2025 launch window.. Players can add the game to their wishlist now to be notified when early access or public testing begins.
Additionally, a free demo was released on October 10, 2025.
So far, Final Sentence has only been announced for PC via Steam.. There’s no news yet on console versions, but given its fast typing mechanics, the experience seems tailor-made for keyboard users.
Button Mash released a trailer on October 10 to mark the arrival of a free demo. Check it out below.
Unlike most typing games, Final Sentence turns the simple act of pressing the right keys into a real fight for survival. Up to 100 players participate in the same online match, each striving to outperform the others while avoiding elimination. Every mistake brings you closer to defeat and only one player can remain standing.
The main loop revolves around typing accuracy and speed. Players compete in real-time matches that test their concentration and reflexes under pressure. There are ranked modes, detailed stats, and customizable lobbies for private games with friends.
That’s everything we know about Final Sentence so far, but we’ll keep this guide updated with new details as the developer shares more, so be sure to check back!
