When commentators attack Patrick Mahomes, it has finally gone too far.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback remains a subject of controversy as penalties continue to be called against the Houston Texans heading into the fourth quarter of Saturday’s AFC Divisional Round.
During the first quarter, Will Anderson was slapped with a rough passer call after barely tapping Mahomes after a pass. This led to a Harrison Butker basket.

In the third quarter, Mahomes tried to take a running start and began to slide. As he went downhill, Henry To’oTo’o made the tackle, leading to another late hit against the Texans and a first down. Kansas City would march down the field to extend the lead to eight with an 11-yard touchdown run by Travis Kelce.
Fans are tired of referees giving special treatment to the three-time Super Bowl winner. CJ Stroud was hit several times late, but the second Mahomes is hit, a flag and another 15 yards on the way.
