Ian Machado Garry did what he had to do to stay undefeated.
After three hard-fought rounds, Garry earned a decision victory over Michael Page at UFC 303. While Page found success with his striking throughout the fight, Garry won the decision by relying on his grappling in the first and third rounds. Garry is now 8-0 to begin his UFC welterweight career and looks set to land a fight against a top contender as he continues his quest for the UFC 170-pound title.
However, the methodical nature of Garry’s victory didn’t inspire many of his peers. See how the MMA world reacted to Garry vs. Page at UFC 303 below.

He was completely desperate standing
But Page’s grappling skills are defensive only and do not allow for ground movement.– noad lahat (@Neo_MMA) June 30, 2024
