The best sentiment, however, came from tech stocks, with S&P 500 futures up 0.8% and Nasdaq futures up 1.1% on the day. This stems from better results from Alphabet and Microsoft. Also helping to improve the mood somewhat is Wall Street’s late rebound, which helped pare some of yesterday’s losses.
