European indices close lower on this day

- S&P Index -5.95 points or -0.11% to 5057. The low price reached 5040.88.
- NASDAQ Index -16 points or -0.10% to 15869. Low reached 15824.34
The small-cap Russell 2000 index is trading down -8.74 points or -0.44% at 1966.97.
