Erling Haaland wants Oasis reunion but Noel Gallagher says ‘loose’ brother Liam doesn’t want it

Erling Haaland thinks he can get Manchester City fans Noel and Liam Gallagher to reconcile and bring Oasis back.

However, it looks like the Citizens star will have a big task ahead, with Noel telling talkSPORT that his ‘cowardly’ brother is standing in the way of a potential reunion.

In an interview with ViaplayHaaland said: “Maybe they need a peacemaker from Norway to bring them together.”

Liam went a step further and claimed he wanted his club superstar to be on stage with him when it happened, and the Norwegian striker was on board with the idea.

When asked if he could join the Gallagher brothers as their third singer, Haaland replied: “That’s a good question. Yes of course I can, that doesn’t mean I can. I will be, but of course I can be.”

However, the ex-Borussia Dortmund star’s dream isn’t coming true anytime soon.

That’s according to Noel, who spoke to White and Jordan at talkSPORT about possibly reuniting and patching things up with his brother.

“Well, I put [a reunion] there, I mean, he should call me,” he told Jim White and Simon Jordan.

“He keeps talking about it, you would have thought by now that he had some sort of plan.

“And if he has a plan, he should talk to me. He won’t talk to me because he’s a coward.

“But he should have some of his men, his agent, call my people and say, ‘Look, this is what we’re thinking’ and then we’ll have a conversation about it.

“So far, he’s been a little dishonest.

“I’m open to a phone call,” he continued. “Other than that, stop playing with the kids, it’s not fair to the fans.”

The brothers’ iconic band officially split up in August 2009 after the pair got into a fight while on tour and the two have been feuding ever since.

Haaland certainly has his work cut out…
