Erling Haaland returned to Manchester City’s departure XI for his premier League clash against Southampton on Saturday.
The Norwegian singer was prodigious in front of the goal this season once again, with 21 strikes in 28 Premier League games, but has disappeared for six weeks with an ankle injury.
The problem was supported in the FA Cup of Manchester City victory against Bournemouth at the end of March, which led Omar Marmoush to often fill the Haaland in advance.
In the absence of Haaland, City played seven games, winning an impressive six. The Pep Guardiola team managed to abandon the points until they drew 0-0 in Manchester United in early April.
City entered their match against Southampton, sitting in third place and is currently looking on the right track to qualify for the Champions League next season – although the margins of the first five race are thin razors.
Only four points separate City and Aston Villa in seventh, with Newcastle, Chelsea and Nottingham Forest also in the mixture.

After a relatively meager patch of only three league goals in 13 games towards the end of last year, Haaland then rediscover his best form and scored eight in his last 10, as well as some assists, before undergoing his injury.
He also achieved eight goals in a campaign of nine games in the Champions League that City will feel far too early for their taste, losing big against Real Madrid during 16 qualifiers in February.
