While Arsenal won 2-1 against Everton, City secured the title with a two-point lead over Mikel Arteta’s side.

Securing the title seemed inevitable as the minutes ticked by, but fans were a little premature in their celebrations as many encroached onto the pitch just minutes before the end of stoppage time.

As expected, the Man City stars were eager to finish the match in order to formalize their title success, leading to an angry confrontation.

Bernardo Silva led Man City stars’ appeals, before Erling Haaland and Ruben Dias got involved to vent their frustrations to fans.

As supporters temporarily left the pitch, City were able to watch the match before the referee’s final whistle signaled the start of the celebrations.

Fans stormed the field by the thousands, leading Haaland and his teammates to sprint off the field.

While some headed straight for the tunnel, Kyle Walker, Phil Foden, Rodri and others celebrated near the tunnel as stewards formed a protective shield against the fans occupying the pitch.

These celebrations continued in the dressing room, as the club attempted to get fans off the pitch so the official trophy celebration could begin.
