Erik Ten Hag is “elbow” with an arsenal legend in the race to become the new manager of Bayer Leverkusen.
The boss of Leverkusen, Xabi Alonso, will leave the club at the end of the season to take charge of Real Madrid, returning to his former club as a boss when Carlo Ancelotti leaves.
Alonso has long been linked to a return to Spain at the end of the season, with an assembly of pressure on Ancelotti after a relatively disappointing campaign with Los Blancos.

However, before the last home game on Sunday of the season, Alonso has now announced that he would leave the club, with many reports indicating that he will leave for Real Madrid.
Although a large part of the attention is on how the former midfielder made in Spain, he will have to replace Leverkusen and, according to the German botter, it could be ten Hag or Cesc Fabregas which will be in the canoe next year.
