Eric Trump attended a ceremony in Vietnam to announce the construction of a new luxury station of $ 1.5 billion from the Trump organization, while the country is desperately seeking to avoid the potentially paralyzing prices offered by his father.
The second eldest son of President Donald Trump participated in a revolutionary ceremony on Wednesday in the province of Hung Yen, just outside Hanoi, to launch the main real estate project. Development will include golf courses, five -star hotels and a luxury residential complex, according to Bloomberg.
The Vietnamese complex will cover around 2,500 acres and should be completed by 2029. Development is a partnership between the Trump organization and several of its local and investors.

Eric Trump, executive vice-president of the Trump organization, visited Vietnam while the country engages in talks to bypass the devastating prices of President Trump on Vietnamese products.
On April 2, that Trump nicknamed the “Liberation Day”, the president announced a series of “reciprocal” prices for the countries of the world.
This included a major rate of 46% on Vietnamese imports – in the highest rates of all Trump’s pricing proposals – which initially had to take effect in July.
However, the rate of Vietnam and dozens of other countries have since been reduced to 10% for a period of 90 days, the United States and Vietnam now trying to undo a new trade agreement.
Vietnam has made several wishes to try to appease the United States in the context of negotiations, in particular by promising to repress counterfeit and commercial fraud, and the purchase of American goods.
The Vietnamese state media reported that the Trump administration told the country on Friday that the current trade surplus with the United States was “unsustainable”.

Elsewhere, Eric Trump and other representatives of the Trump organization should also meet officials from Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday to discuss the potential construction of a skyscraper in the city’s financial district, Reuters reported.
In October 2024, the Trump organization announced a partnership with Hung Yen Hospitality, a subsidiary of the Vietnamese real estate company Kinhbac City, to develop multiple “unrivaled equipment” through Vietnam.
“We are incredibly delighted to seize this dynamic market,” said Eric Trump in a statement. “Vietnam has enormous potential for luxurious hospitality and entertainment, and we are more delighted to work with this incredible family to redefine luxury in the region.”
