“Enola Holmes 3” began production in the United Kingdom, with Millie Bobby Brown, Louis Partridge, Henry Cavill, Helena Boham-Carter, Himesh Patel and Sharon Duncan-Brewster returning to find out more about Slétoristes from the Victorian era of Netflix.
Philip Barantini, who recently helped Netflix to attract records with “adolescence”, made for the first time the director’s chair, taking over from Harry Bradbeer who made the first two films. Barantini works from a script for his collaborator “Adolescence” Jack Thorne, who has now written the three “Enola Holmes” features, based on the series of books “The Enola Holmes Mysteries” by Nancy Springer which details the daring detective work of the teenage sister of Sherlock Holmes.
The third episode sees the Chase Enola Holmes adventure in Malta, where, according to the description, “personal and professional dreams collide on a more tangled and more treacherous affair than all that it has known before.”
Producers include Mary Parent, Ali Mendes and Alex Garcia for Legendary Entertainment and Brown and Bobby Brown for the Brown PCMA Productions production company. Executive producers include Jake Bongiovi and Isobel Richards for PCMA, Joshua Grode for Legendary and Michael Dreyer.
The films “Enola Holmes” have proven to be a critical and commercial success for Netflix so far, “Enola Holmes 2” its early debut in its world visualization at the end of 2022 after having won more than 68 million hours broadcast in 93 countries. The second film also saw Brown would have paid $ 10 million for the main role, the highest initial salary for an actor under 20 at the time.
